Job description

Safran Cabin Materials located in Newport, WA is recruiting for:

Cartridge Filler - 2nd Shift
2pm to 12:30am Monday through Thursday
$20.00/hr

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Dispense correct amount of materials by weight into 6 oz. and 20 oz. barrier style cartridge kits, or buckets dependent on customer requirements.
Use of digital scale to measure predetermined weights in grams.
Maintain correct storage conditions for materials used in 2-part epoxy combinations.
Utilize FIFO for inventory cartridge kits.
Use of drum oven to heat materials reducing the viscosity for ease of dispensing.
Maintain traceability of raw materials
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Other task as needed and flexibility is key.

Candidate skills & requirements

Sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.
Good basic math skills.
Speak/read/write English proficiently.
Have legible handwriting/printing.
Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.
Willing to work overtime as needed.

Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
